Poem -

Stripped-down - to his very core.

I envisioned a desert land
Watched as the vultures

Striped the flesh
from a travellers mind

His bones shone brightly
Beneath the blistering sun

His journey now begun
Living only within their blood

There was no water
In my vision

Evaporation of his hearts fluid
Brought him to his knees

No one but the vultures
To hear his final scream's

Stripped-down to his very core
Surviving the hottest desert

Keeping vultures from your door
Becomes a living challenge

Across the dusty land
No more.
