Stronger than she looks

Alone she sits
against the world
she can't take it
she just a woman once a little girl
hurting inside
crying tears no one cares to see
all she wants to do is hide
she can't stand that they don't see who she is trying so hard to be
she has nowhere to turn
all she is thinking about is slipping away
watching the world she loves burn
she just wanted someone to love her, a place to want to stay
but she is past the point of trying
no one cares anyway
all she wanted was love, but inside she is dying
they will look back one day
and see the person they missed
she will be gone far away
hopefully they will remember they did this...
to her and she had to go
she loves them still
why she no longer knows
but she is strong and has the will

Greetings Dana,
Sometimes the worse of the worse bringing out the best in us when all else fails or in some cases,(such as this) the worse in us, even though it was the one identity, you rather not have retired to. Not being allowed to be the you that suits you best and others, whom you know would enjoy, if they just gave you the opportunity, to allow your inner you, out for all to adore and marvel over.It is sad how we don't miss what is good for us or too us, when it sits right in front of our faces, though when it has diminished then only do we search hi and hell waters for it, although by then, it is to late, to once again acquire...Very nice poem and in way to many cases, so very true.....
Kind regards,
Jim
Dear Dana.
Very touching poem for lonely hearts, i believe we all have a hidding place inside our loneliness, this part that is always yearning to flow with life, but life is too busy looking else where, and we slowly fall asleep, until some kind of love, or hope awakens our thirst to live who we are fully, and be loved for all that we are. I think every being has a very lonely place that hides her grace behind her face. However inside our loneliness lies a most beautiful and wondrous world, with full bloom gardens of miracles, for those who are lucky and worthy to find it, you do matter, as does every person that came to find their lonely place, so to find the God that sits within.
Kindest regards
Shirley
