Silenced girls keep a secret, 
Blind boys don't lie, 
Bloody tears run down your face, 

Fear filled eyes know your fate, 
Mute girls tell no tales, 
Deaf boys don't hear a thing, 

They cannot tell, 
About a crime they cannot hear, 
Lies weave in and out of existence, 

Feeble hands reach for the surface, 
To reach light they cannot see, 
Wishing to just be free, 

Trapped in their own living hell, 
The only sense definite is smell, 
Taking in the scent of tears that fall, 

Their Shangri-La is a make believe world, 
No one can harm them, 
Safe in a blanket made of hope, 

Nothing can take it from them, 
Dreams of the future greet them, 
Determination leads them on, 

Not letting the world take them down, 
They fight until the battle is done, 
Feebles lives are the strongest of all, 

Underestimated, 
Blind sided, 
Knocked down they go on,
