Such a seasonal sight ⛄️

My blackout curtains can not hide the early morning light

As I peep from an open gap and everything is white

Oh dear it must have been heavy snow falls most of the night

Mind you it is such a Chrismas card seasonal sight..
                                ~
Ah well another day when I will hide

Coz I have no notion to go outside

One day soon I shall stroll again far and wide

But I won’t risk walking when I slip and slide..
                                 ~
I will watch the little children playing in the snow

I can see everything from my livingroom window

They will trudge up the top of that hill and sledge to the bottom below

Laughing and giggling with joviality as they go...
