Sugared With Stars

there are softer places to
lie down, I think
softer than this
softer than this, there...
in deep purple heathers
gold rimmed with love
softer than this
much softer than this
peppered with kisses from
the good lips of bliss

there are kinder places to
breathe in, I think
kinder than this
much kinder than this
midnight flavoured and
sugared with stars
not very far
not so very far...
away
