SUMMER OF 68
Summer of 68
The summer she was so pretty
She lived in the city she thoughtÂ
She was so witty she like to sing
Old ditty songs of the pastÂ
Just a bitty little girl
Summer of 68
Summer she was so pretty
Flowers in her hair she danced
Every where with out any care
Summer of 68Â
The summer she was so pretty
She didn't like to be grittyÂ
And did have pitty onÂ
People who were so gritty
Summer of 68 a far outÂ
And groovy time.Â

Sounds like you had a good time that year Greg and bid time a return to younger innocent days.
And a groovy time at that and whatever happened to that word groovy and fab for that matter.
A beautiful carefree poem Greg and a year that is indelible and finds a fond place in your memory.
