Memories  of an old man

Through aged eyes
That know no lies
I drink the nectar so sublime
Of Years that flew
 on fleeting wings
Of days that passed  
and wedding rings
Of children's laughter
 and the joys it brings 
Of memories  of a passing time
When you fed my heart
With your summer wine
