SUN DIPS LOW

A Final Roar

Sun dips low, a bleeding heart,
Drips ruby fire, tears clouds apart.
Sky's canvas splashed with fiery rage,
A final roar before it flips the page.

Red bleeds to black, a fading beat,
Day chills out, surrenders to the street.
From scorching flame to neon glow,
The city sleeps, a slow mo' show.

Buildings stand, chrome giants gleam,
Against the blaze, a neon dream.
Traffic streaks, a neon blur,
Stars flash on, "Party time, for sure!"

Night falls soft, a velvet hush,
Cool breeze whispers, "Shh, no need to rush."
The neon sky hums a funky tune,
Twilight paints a cityscape, cool as the moon.
