Sunflowers

Sunflowers

Sunflowers.

You don’t hear sunflowers telling stories,
As they croon from fields of gold.
Nor do you listen to grey-haired lovers,
Not believing you’ll grow old.

Come listen, I’ll tell you a story,
How soon today will leave,
You’re a rainbow after rainfall,
You need to see, to believe.
