~ SUNNY STAR ~
Oh, sunny star
In life,
The only starΒ
Is you.
You shine the brightest.
Close your eyes,
Feel,
Your connection
To the energyΒ
Behind,
The light,
In your eyelids.
In life,
The only star
Is you.
The reflection
You sense
Is energy returning,
From others
You've met.
We are allΒ
Energy,
The stuff of galaxies,
Described
With epithets.
Like,
Star bright
In life,Β
The only star
Is you.
For you can touch
The light,
Inside,
A light that never,
Ever, dies.
It is wise,
To look
Deep inside,
For the universe
Itself,
Awaits you,
In you.
You shine the brightest.
For you,
Are nearest to,
The sun,
Itself.

This to me reads like a message of love to a dear one...it can read the other way also as musings on the nature of spirit but I think it is a fine love poem...forgive me if this was not your intention Tony...wonderful either way ?
Nothing to forgive MARION!!...we all find what we need from poetry.....one of my favorite things about it!!β¦..and even though I didn't intend this as a message of love between two people.....it does in fact, have to do with the energy, love, and light, that makes us all a part of something much bigger.....and of course we all believe that the creator is Love in our small understanding of things!!β¦..One thing we know for SURE is that we are ALL made of energy and that energy itself is immortal.....just ever-changing!!β¦β¦.thanx for this dear poet sister!!β¦β¦.LOVE & ROCKETS!!β¦..T xoΒ : )

either way as I said, you are right Tony, we are all made of energy love and light...it exists within us and as a separate force that we cannot as you said ever understand in this realm...though I try ...every day..I try...hugs ?

Faith yes, if you believe in God...or conventional God. I don't but I strongly believe in an unseen power of light and love or 'other'...same thing? Possibly. I have no doubt that it exists what I try to understand every day is the WHY. Does it have a hand in our fates ..does it guide us...is it god? Spirit? Alien? Are we designed or are we random?? Do we have a purpose...does it have a purpose?? Are we controlled or free willed?? Who knows?? but fascinating stuff ?

I would very much like to know your views on life the universe and everything Tony, I would like to know everyone's views on such things...I am truly fascinated by all this stuff especially as I 'awakened' to possibilities a few years ago and became aware of other 'activity' within the cosmos ..without meaning to sound pompous or grand, what I mean is I actually had time and space and the right frame of mind to become open to a zillion possibilities...we are truly brainwashed from birth...hugs my friend ?

Yeah no bad juju virus my way my family is staying well too. It isnβt spreading as quickly in Minnesota (knock on wood) Ivey been keeping my mind busy getting ready for planting my garden was thinking of starting my potatoes my husband made me some awesome raised beds cause we leave in an apartmentΒ
