Poem -

The Sun's Last Kiss

I feel you there,

In the sun's last kiss,

When quiet falls and shadows rise,

When flame expelled into dark's embrace.

I see you there,

In the glittering eyes,

When piercing through the black despair,

Abandoning me not to loneliness face.

I love you there,

In the promise bright birth,

When spirit and song awaken anew,

When bathed in warmth and grace.

I remember you here,

In the drumbeat of heart,

Where laughter echoes and love took root,

safe,

Where death can neither snatch nor memory erase.
