Unconditional Love, to support, Nurture in loving patience , respect, admire with time and dedication, being there when tears fall, being there when unwell
Listening, understanding, learning about your Childs needs, taking into consideration their individual feelings, putting them first and foremost, showing them affection,
Talking to them, give them your time, they grow so fast, make the precious given times last,
Put your feelings second to last,
Make them know they are important, beautiful, smart, funny,
Amazing people, building up their confidence, building trust, a foundation in a supportive relationship, friendship, a role model, they can look up too, learn from, and grow much needed strength to face the worries of the world, no child is immune to the horrors of life, no matter how hard you try to protect them against it ,
Hold them when their world is dark, shelter their eyes when the world is to bright, tell them you love them, kiss them goodnight, teach the right from wrong, help them through the bad, pass the tissues when life turns sad
So much more can be said
On being a good dad
