Supernatural Delight

I find myself compelled to write,

To tell you of that night

When on the stroke of Halloween

The Lady In White, rarely seen

Showed her beauty to me

Such a vision of serenity

As she gracefully glided down the stairs

I knew her last intention was to scare

Heart pounding, entranced as she approached

I accepted the love of that ghost

Sharing those precious moments with each other

Gave me course to wonder, why not another ?

Now I realize she has captured my soul

That was all along her goal !

For my heart is forever with the Lady In White

Given as a price for supernatural delight !
