Suppressed Memories.

Suppressed Memories.

I'm about to set out on the most grotesque adventure,
battling ripped butterflies with displeasure.
Poisoned candy of my childhood
I shall hence forth lick to remember where I came from
then spit it back into the faces of all my dark memories that scorer my corners
calling themselves "suppressed trauma."
Like you, dark stork
who dropped me on my mothers porch;
then caught a whisking cloud into the night and forever remained a ghost.
Or the lady of pearls and beauty,
who wore a long cloak to hide she had hands made of bottles.
That tall man made of chard branches
who forced twigs into my trousers.
To the little fairy who gave me crystals;
I teleported to a hospital bed.
A baby elephant lived in my grandfathers belly;
till it ate him from the inside out.
I lived in an empty box labeled "all sides up"
I rolled threw life a cardboard tumbleweed.
I screamed so much, begged to be free,
that all of these things became, Suppressed Memories.
