Surreal

Surreal

Β β€œSurreal”

Β (by Nelson Canelo)

Awaken by a soothing voice
I stand still in disbelief
That an image through my window
Calls my name in tones of grief.

Am I dead, or just asleep?
Did I awake and it’s not real?
Why my thoughts aren't as clear?
Am I dreaming so genuinely, so deep?
Β
Debating my existence,
I reach out in search for more.
As I move towards my griever
I fly through across the dorm...!
Β
Confronting it with fear
I could see its astral aura,
Are you an angel, or just my muse?
...Are you myself? ...Or, Am I you?

Hello friends,
I would like to know what are your thoughts to "Surreal". What do you think that nocturnal vision was?

Thanks,
N.C.
