Survival

Survival

One does not enter the world

Knowing all you must know to survive our constant changing evils

We make; we destory

We kill and die all the same

Yet in life we spend lifetimes stepping on each others face to reach impossible goals of self dubbed 'achievmnet'

We let love turn to hate

Friends to enemies

Family becomes strangers

Yet, we view this as okay

So I've clawed, torn, taken, trashed, killed and loved just as they

Even now when, for years, I have lived outside of those actions

I'm hollow and desolate as before

Ever wandering, searching, and blindly hoping for some light in my continued dark trek.

Feeling alone

Merely choosing to stay at my dubbed 'safe' distance from those whom I bait

Chosen the Raven, soul stealer, as my face value

I've created myself many times before

Thus in surviving I've lost myself.
