Sweet poor Child (For children's day)

Sweet poor Child (For children's day)

I wake in the mornings

To my mummy's hugs

Sweet kisses planted

On my hair well combed

After a warm bath

Waiting for a hot made breakfast

But it's only just dream, poor child

A wish that may never be sweet child

I rush to the school bus

With my snacks and bag

Dad says "be careful"

And Mum says"I love you "

While I hop on with confidence

Waving cos I got this covered

But it's just a fantasy sweet child

One that might not be poor child

Now I'm back home

And I'm still very hopeful

I tell them my fears

And they burn them like fire

Which makes me so Jolly

When they sing me to bed with joy

But that's just me dreaming poor child

Hope Fate keeps me this day poor sweet child.

To comfort, love, protection, provision, education, hope and future of the world's Children.

Hi  Cleo  Great write of awareness,
So sad that any child should suffer in silence
through poverty, or anything else for that matter
My respect my friend

Hi Debs, it's sad to see children deprived from dreaming, some are barely living. Thanks a lot. Warm regards.

It's true that lots of children are deprived from a lot of things...They grow up in such disheartening condition..Happy Children's Day (in advance) to every child out there...Lovely lines Cleo

Hi Rose, It's becoming unthinkable what some of them go through. Hope it gets better some day. Warm regards.
