Swing Low

Charm may be false, and beauty doesn't stay
Tell, what was not enough?

I have tried, a year this May

The winds have mellowed now

And I beguile the time

Idling by with reasons that I know will never rhyme

Swing low, pray, swing lower

My sweet heart that used to be

Rest on hard reality

And softly sleep without a dream
