SWORD OF DEMOCLESE

Dangling by a thread,
hangs the sword above his head,
and in his side there cuts a spear,
filled with hatred guilt a fear,
around his face there is a mask,
accomplishing its very task,
for which emotion it does cover,
no man or woman must discover,
for you I took off my mask to bare,
my face to see if you would care,
I bore to you my very soul,
and in my heart it now takes toll,
help me now as the time grows near,
and pull away this wicked spear,
is this a sight we do not share,
teasing dangling in the air.
