Take Me Down to the Water

Saw you one day
When you passed me
Say “Baby where are you headed?”
I said I need to clear my mind 
She said take me I’ll just be a little while
And then she said…
Take me down to the water with you 
I want to swim until I sink into 
The bottom of the ocean floor
I don’t know how much more I can endure.

She said “I know it might sound crazy, but look at this world that’s surrounding us baby.”
I looked her in the eye, I didn’t know what to say.
Because I didn’t disagree. 
Then she said…

“Oh, take me down to the water with you, I wanna swim before I sink to the bottom of the deep blue.”
I said “what the hell is wrong with you?”

Take me down to the water baby.
I really don’t want to drive you crazy.
But l need to know for myself.
For my bit of health.

What is a man to do?

Lead me there to drown.
