Take Me in Your Arms

     In a world of mass shootings 
and video games 
take out as many as you can 
hurt and mame
     In a world of mass shootings
it seems such a shame 
there seems to be no cure 
for anger, jealousy and hate 
     In a world of mass shootings 
and bullets and guns 
it’s just a game they play 
taking out one by one
     In a world of mass shootings 
I’d try and keep you from harm
bolt the door, leave the world
