Poem -

take nothing forgranted .

From the time you were born,
I came to realize such love,
The kind of unique love,
Not many get,
Nor understand ,
Or have a choice,
to ever hold in hand,
And all that we as people,
take for granted everyday,

As i carried you in my womb,
Crying tears of joy,

A lady cries tears of pain,
Her chance at carrying a baby,
Taken away in vain,

As i gave birth to you,
With tears of happiness,
streaming down my face ,

A husband cries tears,
of sorrow as he kisses,
goodbye his wife,
Who gave him a son,
Her life gone in sacrifice,

As i watched you learn to crawl,
Finding your own way,
Tears of happiness,
inside my heart,

While a mother forever faces sorrows,
Worried about all tomorrows,
Her child born with no arms,
or leg's ,

As i listened to your very first words,
Spoken from your beautiful voice,
My whole heart was amazed,

A mother sits silently,
Her baby no voice to raise,

As i watched while you walked,
Then learned to run,

Another mother sits,
by her dying son,

As i wished you happy birthday,
When you my dear turned one,
I could not believe,
the love in my heart ,

As a whole family,
stands mourning,
The death of their child,
So young,
She also just turned one,
A sorrowful loss,
Nothing can overcome.

In life we walk, talk, run, and live,
Don't be so shallow,
For some ,
there's nothing,
they wouldn't give ,
Just to feel, or hear, or touch,
Even to sing,
Some hearts are forever suffering,
Love,
Appreciate ,
What you have in front of you,
Everyone,
Everything,
In life,
You have no control,
over the future ,
Support people,
Around you,
Their love,
Their strength,
Just may astound you.
