The great reconciliation will come
when both ends of the spectrum
and scared shitless moderates
can finally reach agreement
that their contingent is imperfect

When even the crazed
fire breathing zealots
can no longer stomach
or desperately rationalize
some of the sleazes on their side

The painful self confession
that they have team members
who are so morally deficient
and beyond redemption
they need to be condemned
BY THEM

Even if these cretins
share opinion positions
that advance the Cause

There has to be
a bad behavior Rubicon
good people simply can not cross

The driving force
of our much needed unification
will be the shared acceptance
that character matters once again
