Poem -

Takes alot to scare me?

In the darkest hours
On a misty, murky night
I am not afraid
Nor fear shadows
From my torch light
I do not need an aid

I hear the wise old owl above
Screeching in a tree
Prowling foxes
Piercing scream
I need no one with me

Branches break,
They bend & bow
I’m still alright somehow
Howling wind
Through alleyways
Why should I worry now?

I will not submit nor run away
It is merely nature,
Thats okay
I am not scared I will not run
I observe the game keeper
With his gun

In the distance
Through a hollow
I hear a rifle shot
A pack of hyenas
Running fast
I am petrified at last ?
