Poem -
Tales of a twisted mind
The brutal memories of the day's gone bye haunt my twisted mind.
Waiting in the shadows like a predator waiting to pounce on any glimmer of happiness and devour it in it's darkness.
I shout out in my despair that I am a perfect child of the light.
I watch helplessly as they retract smirking into the deepest depths of my mind, knowing they will back when the sunlight turns to night.
