Tales of Yggdrasil: The Fire, the Beast, and the Wise
Tales of Yggdrasil: Surtr, Fenris and Odin
In Muspelheim's forge, where fires blaze, Surtr stands, his sword a fiery haze. With flames that dance and sparks that fly, He waits for Ragnarök’s battle cry.
In shadows deep, where darkness lies, Fenris prowls with blazing eyes. The beast of fate, with strength untamed, A force of nature, wild and unclaimed.
Odin, the wanderer, wise and old, Seeks the truths that fate has told. With one eye lost, for wisdom’s gain, He rides the winds, across the plain.
Surtr astride Fenris' might, Together they ride into the night. A fiery giant, a beast unbound, Their fearsome roars the only sound.
Surtr’s sword, with fire’s might, Will clash with gods in end-times fight. His flames will scorch the heavens high, As stars fall from the burning sky.
Fenris’ roar will shake the ground, With chains broken, he is unbound. His jaws will close on Odin’s fate, A tragic end, the gods await.
Odin stands, with spear in hand, Against the doom that fate has planned. With ravens' flight and wolves at side, He faces destiny, with ancient pride.
In halls of gods, where echoes dwell, Their tales are told, and legends swell. Surtr’s fire, Fenris’ might, And Odin’s wisdom in the night.
As twilight falls and darkness spreads, The signs of Ragnarök ahead. The trumpets sound, the world awaits, The clash of gods, and sealed fates.
The end begins, with fiery strife, The end of worlds, the end of life.
But from the ashes, new life will sprout, A cycle renewed, without a doubt.
