Poem -

Tape

Boxes taped up and stored away,
Taping, taping, always taping. Storing them away, hiding them in a bigger overflowing box.
Hiding them on the top shelf, on the far most corner to the right,
because there's nothing left
once it's taped up.
The tape holding me together,
the sticky bits peeling,
and taking my hope with it.
Without my tape,
I'll fall apart.
I'll fall,
and fall,
and become unraveled.
So,
taping, taping, always taping. Storing them away, hiding them in a bigger overflowing box.
Hiding them on the top shelf, on the far most corner to the right,
because there's nothing left
once it's taped up.
