There are things that draw men to love the world
Then there are things that cause them to despise
The lust of the flesh, sensual longing of the eyes
And the basic, "Pride in life"
All draw men to love the world
But the pains and miseries that spring from these desires
Give rise to a weariness and hateful fires
These sinful pleasures have such control over struggling men
That he thinks it sheer delight, to be caught among the briars
But those men and women that recognize this world
That strive to live for GOD ,with discipline
In the end, grow in Love and superior experience
The Divine sweetness
That can savor the Love
Is always there
In all of us
Always....
