Tea

Tea

Another dangerous night

both, took our ration of tea

our heads began to fill with lucid dreams

best to head for the bus

now in command, we thought

the bridge starts to sway

all of gravity’s might

denied us our rights

as we pulled in,

feelings of grim

bestowed away, but locked us in

clouds sail past

as stars seem to lift and brighten

on foot we took

on this dangerous night

to the park, where we lost,

all figure and form

speech consumed madness

as we tempered the storm

clocks began to slow, soon stop

struck panic and fear

This dangerous night

Turned dismal with each passing breath

The clock seized,

Will dawn come near

Hoping and willing, that all trace will slip away.

Interesting. That tea sounds a bit scary :) wow in Ireland we just have tea and go to bed. :) lol..

Great write, been there in my younger days. Well done could sense the danger and yet the thrill.

Keep writing.
