TEACHERS, THE BOYS IN THE CHAIRS

You couldn't speak one word and yet, you taught me so much...
The smartest boys I knew...
You taught me things that people assume...
Seeing you as clueless you smiled at me because we knew better...
A quick card game before you went to school I couldn't wait until you got out so we could continue...
Together we were full of surprises people didn't have a clue...
You always beat me fair and square...
How can that be when he can't hold his cards?
Your twin brother in a wheelchair next to yours...
I will never forget his smile and if anyone could get him to do it...
He felt love right away for you...
We would laugh whenever I would say if your feet worked you'd miss every class because you would be chasing all the girls instead...Β
Carrying the biggest stack of hall passes as you got side tracked...
Teachers, the boys in the chairs...
Taught me how to see beauty just looking out a window...
Taught me to appreciate my life and everyone in it...
Taught me how to love from heart to heart not by fancy, jewels or even a kiss...
Teachers, you were two of the best...
Hugs...

Hello Sis Cherie...
Teachers come in many teaching forms...
ββββββThe boys I'm speaking of were twins with Cerebral Palsy...
They both passed away in their early 20's...
Though they couldn't communicate they were both very bright...
One was a little worse than the other...
One couldn't hold his head up more than a few seconds and he drooled a lot, but both were so sweet...
They were definitely underestimated of their intelligence...
For some reason I could communicate with both of them so easily...
People were shocked especially their Mother because O met them when I was only 10 years old...
ββββββI remember them so well...
So far so good memory is still quite clear...
