Last night i heard the news they said it happened once again

Someone opened fire and several lives came to an end

People running all around the streets are filled with fear

The message of hate came through loud and clear

Now anger fills the holes left inside our hearts

We can't make sense of it all it just drives us apart

Will there ever come a day when love will conquer all

When we face the fear that feeds the hatred we can tear down the wall

Tear down the wall we all must stand as one

Tear down the wall together we can get it done

We need more time down on our knees praying for peace

Im to short your to tall

You have friends and me i dont fit at all

Its only the outside that sets us apart

Deep down inside we all have the same heart

A heart that wants acceptance

Aheart that wants love

A heart that can be broken and still rise above

Pick up the shattered pieces put the love back in your heart

Dont let what we dont understand tear us apart
