Something in the rain
As it falls to the ground
The running of the gully
As it pours out
Drips' of heavenly tears
Washing away the day
Whether it was night before
The angel ran away
Something in the silence
The warmth within the air
Twinkling of a rose petal
As it drowns beneath her stare
Remembering the day
Before it turned to night
Spread her wings to fly
Escaping all is right
A tear mingled
within heavens rain
In hopes of love to heal
Her pain
Subtlety upon the ground
Beneath the windowpane
Lost all her dreams to fly again
