Poem -

Tears of sodden woe.

Tears of sodden woe.

It was as if forever passed between our hearts for loving time

As I recall the tender touch of your heart holding mine

I've felt what darkness proceeds to be, in absence of your true embrace,

and caught the tears of sodden woe on your adoring face

Hold me in the morning light, well after darkness seeks to fade

In the light of heavens glory in the creases god had made

Fold yourself within me now, unravel at my touch of hand,

bring me back to common ground where love may understand

That if you were to go away, and stay between what aims to try

In the absence of your sweet adoration in the eye

I would protest in nightly stars abound me then and now

For I have love you in abandoned Strengths and vow

To honor the times we speak of love, and intimately feel your pain

And I with all the courage mustered Must Know you once again.
