TELL HER
![TELL HER](https://cosmofunnel.com/sites/default/files/styles/full/public/2024-05/224051197651.jpg?itok=8Be244q8)
She plays with words like they are lollies,
Sweetly and bouncily rolling in her mouth.
Tell her! Say her words are melodies to your ears
But no comfort to your heart.
Tell her that love found you
And with burning eyes it fired you,
Then joyful and secure it slowly started to mature,
Without again turning its face away.
It might navigate outside the well-ordered world
Into a bit of chaos,
Hitting the rocks and crashing into boulders
Ripping the sail and roll over and over
But It will survive the nature of its own storm,
And find its way home.

Hi Deepak, I am happy you like it. It means a great deal to me.
hi Bernadete! really love these words! keep them coming!...........................Jim
Thank you very much Jim. Yes, Hi to you too. Good to have you reading
my work. I have read some of yours (can't keep up, you've quite a few, Lol).
One of my favourites are Simple Finesse and Infinite. Your writings have
purpose and value, I enjoy reading.
Thank you for your words. You always have something nice to say, Mr Baker.
Thank you for directing me to this poem. Yes your description of playing with words like lollies is the way I envisaged Marie in my book. And Ken is the one who has the more romantic soul who loves to hear her words but those words don't always provide the comfort they should. And yes everything you write in the second half of your poem is also true of Ken but when you say at the end that love finds its way home it does but its home becomes a like a lock up in his memory, one which might be opened at a later date.
Could your poem relate to my story? Yes absolutely.
