Temperance

Cylindrical in motion, the particles rise and fall

Rounded, its once and future paths meet end to end

Guilt and governance entwined beneath the value of a point defined and the volume of an empty sphere

Near, this end must always find a start

Reverberation of their jaws pried apart

Six senses of a pseudo-servile mind

Heaven begged to understand

Yet wide out open bit the hand of the contrast it created

This world is Syracuse, in one or other way

Falling at foundations to reduce

itself to our expectations.

Excellent work! You have delved into the anomalies of social constructs and a disjointed sense of spirituality lost in consumerism. Food for thought!

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement, Raven. I'm glad that my work can still manage a degree of thought-provocation! hehe :)
