Temptation

One was never enough I wanted three or four,
Evil creep upon me like the devil was knocking at the door,
It’s like there was a big sign made just for me,
“Have as many cookies as you want because they’re free”,
Not knowing the consequences of my actions,
Everything was great until it wasn’t,
I heard the devil whisper madness and then had his demons sent,
I could have stopped while I was on top but didn’t,
I just I didn’t know how much my life could change in that one minute,
I have forever to think of that now,
As I am put in the grave I give life my final bow.
