Temptations

By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos

Temptations

Silent and wilful,
The serpent spreads fear and chaos,
Whispering honeyed fantasies in your ear,
Pushing aside logic,
Inviting your darkest sins to rest on your shoulder,
Control your every move.

Beware the serpent whisperings,
For he tells you lies,
Broken truths and honeyed fantasies,
Glowing, serpentine, amber eyes,
Sugar-coated truths and fantasian lies.

Twinkling jewels,
Piles of gold,
Revenge aplenty,
Desires sitting in front of your very eyes,
Honeyed truths and fantasian lies!

Golden, glowing treasures,
Bejewelled, shining shit to fill all your pleasures,
Possessions coming out your ears,
While he draws on your deepest fears,
Beware the price to pay,
Nothing comes for free.
