The Ten Commandments

Believing in something is hard.

Especially with no evidence not even a
shard.

Have I prayed you ask me,

Yes I pray but nothing happens you see.

The bible... It was written by man,

Yet people act like it was written in
God's hand.

Commandment one says no god before me,

But can you believe in something you
can never see?

Commandment two says I'm a jealous god,

But yet there are plays where people
play god.

Commandment three says not to take the
lords name in vain,

But when tornadoes strike who else is
to blame?

Commandment four says Do labor for six
days,

People have died for those ways.

Commandment five says honor your father
and mother and your days will be long,

What if they beat you or did you wrong?

Commandment six says you shall not
kill,

What if a man takes your free will?

Commandment seven says do not cheat,

So your husband can throw you down and
beat?

Commandment eight says you shall not
steal,

Do you starve yourself if to work your
too ill?

Commandment nine says you shall not
bear false witness against your neighbor,

But people do it every day don't that
take the caper?

Commandment ten the very last one says
not to covet anything of your neighbors',

But if she loves you not him, your
doing him a favors.

So do I beileve in god?

I don't really know.

But I believe somehow we are all
connected,

Some are just filled with the bible
completely injected.
