TERRY THE TENERIFE THIEF

This is a tale of Terry the thief 
He operated in the holiday resort of Tenerife
Terry was well known at this holiday resort 
He operated night and day and had never been caught

The beaches here are overcrowded and the weather is hot 
The rewards for Terry were great and amounted to a lot 
Then one day out walking on a Tenerife street 
Terry said hello to his mate Charlie from downtown Crete 

In a bar Charlie and Terry over a beer discussed old times
The robberies and rich pickings of these terrible crimes 
Terry however had made a huge mistake 
This man was not Charlie and was actually a fake 

The man turned out to be Simon an undercover cop 
The days of the Tenerife thief were now about to stop
