A sidebar to think about and further our discussion
of a man i knew with dreams of making something outta nothing
in a neighborhood where everyday's Halloween, no pumpkins
Just fake thugs and real pity in trampoline city, they always jumpin'
Church was the only place he found peace tho he wasnt big on religion
Tucked inside the corner, early Sunday morning sermon he started to listen
Pastor said something that peaked his interest and he started to vision
The better life he could have if he became a devout Christian
Sometimes the truth doesn't rhyme,
that's what he learned buried behind the bible that kept him alive
He found peace with what he saw in his eyes
despite the lies implanted in his mind
He learned to drop the bad baggage and find a good ladder
look up, its not the fall, but the climb
Crawl before you walk, Think before you talk
Cause you've got to live before you can survive

That is how I feel at Church sometimes. It is kinda hit and miss. Everyone seems so happy and i try so hard to grasp that always. I may struggle forever. But thank you for sharing. Its crazy how we can be a thousand mioes apart and nothing alike but still relate on our differences.
Exactly! Sometimes "church" can be lesson in it's self and thank you for you very positive comment!
