Testimony

The Lord has never failed
me
even when I didn’t deserve it,
even when I wasn’t
worthy
 
When we were hungry
and there was no money
Suddenly there was food
and once again God saved
me
 
When I was scared, cold, and
shivering
God provided a blanket
and I was no longer
quivering
 
When alcohol consumed me
and I was defeated
God shook me and said
“You can beat it”
 
When I didn’t believe and had
no faith
God still held me in his
embrace
 
When I gave up on myself
God never stopped pushing me,
pushing me back to health
 
God has brought me back
from death so many times
He has a plan for me,
no matter my crime
 
I have regained my faith
I have repented my sins
I get down on my knees
And praise him
I have let God in
