Poem -

Thank you

I give thanks today,
(As I should everyday)
Thank you to the rain,
For quenching the dry earth's thirst,
Thank you to my fortune,
For saving me at birth,
Thank you to my parents,
For doing the best they could,
Thank you to the warming flame
And thank you to the wood,

My fruitbowl runeth over,
My salad is anointed with extra virgin,

Thank you to the stars at night,
For showing me the path,
Thank you to the blessed wine,
For comforting my glass,
Thank you to those that tested me,
In time I learned the lessons,
Thank you for all the precious days,
With loved ones now departed,
Thank you for the delicate memories,
So easy to forget,
I look forward to a distant time,
Live life with no regrets.

Peace
