Thank you for the blood

The cross reminds me of the Crucifixion of Jesus,

the bread reminds me of His broken body,

the cup reminds me of His blood that flowed,

the empty tomb reminds me of His resurrection,

His word reminds me of His coming back and

heaven reminds me that He prepared a place for me.

Thank you for the blood, thank you for the blood.

My sins are red like scarlet but can be made

whiter than snow.

My sins are red like crimson but can be made

whiter than wool.

My sins are bright red but can be

purified like gold.

At the cross my sins are forgiven because

without the shedding of blood there is no

forgiveness of sin.

Thank you for the blood, thank you for the blood.

I was once lost but now I am found.

I was once bond but now I am free.

I was once poor but now I am rich.

Thank for the blood, thank you for the blood.

A poem dedicated to the blood of a tortured man, in the world even today there are people who shed their blood among the vilest tortures, Jesus within that spectrum of victims tortured by men just is one more.

How many torturers criminals after their crimes have been forgiven by God?

True Human beings can learn so much from God.Just the way God forgives us we need to forgive other,which is not easy. God is so forgiving.

The image is striking, about forgiveness, I have to say that there are things that are unforgivable even for God, and one of them is the torture and murder of any being alive, you can forgive a theft, assault, an insult or offense, but crime and torture ever. Mankind will never find peace while criminals walked on the face of the Earth. A greeting.
