Thank you Mama

I remember all of the good times that we have shared
And all the times you showed me how much you really cared
All the times that you refused to give up on me, even when everyone was telling you to just let me be
But you stayed by my side, no matter what I did, and held your head up high and told them to "Shut up, that's my kid"
You truly are the strongest woman that I have ever known
And because of you, I straightened up, and started acting grown
Alot of times I know that I was a disappointment to you, but because of your faith in me, I overcame it all, and let the real me shine through 
Now I am a wife and have children of my own
I know I'll raise them right, Mama, you set the time
I could never thank you enough for all that you have done
Because of you, I know I'll be a wonderful mother to my two sons
