Thanksgiving Song

I take delight in this time,

because October is gone.

The evil for now’s behind them,

And time for a Thanksgiving Song.

Adapting to my surroundings,

this month that for now is new.

Explicit in their preparations,

all the cooking that the families will do.

Joy of caring and sharing,

being with those that they love.

Seeing the smiling faces,

enjoying the kisses and hugs.

so relieved and thankful this hasn't took long,
