That all it takes to be alive

When the roads through the woods
Takes you into unknown territory,
You don't know what waits for you after
Walking alone for miles without company..
You just choose to travel the path
In hope to see the green grassland on other side
To run through the meadows of delight
To feel the colours of the rainbow..

And yet you know that the path is hard
No one to walk with you in the dark,
U miss those days you passed together
But still you choose to walk alone.
And then one fine day you will be exhausted
The scorching sun will suck all your happiness,
You will dream of going back to your town
And to just hug the people who loves you..

You miss the moments of holding hands of beloved
You miss the talks you had sitting on the grass,
You hope that on the other side she waits for you 
And that this hard days will pass by.
And with the hope you take all the courage
Standing up again to traverse through the forest
To reach the dreams of having a better life
That's all it takes to be alive...
