THAT C WORD

That C word happens every year 
People get drunk on wine and beer 
Eating plenty and stuffing their belly 
Playing silly games or watching the telly 

That C word happens every year 
For the homeless it brings little cheer 
Living on the street on a cold winter's day 
That can't be right is all I will say
