That come what may ๐

She is that blue bubble that everyone can see
But everything around about her is as black as can be
And inside her silence is a sickening choir
As that terrible ticking tinnitus rises higher and higher
So she creeps up those corridors amidst the darkness of the night
That big old moon shines thru her skyline offering her some light
Yet so sad from sleeplessness she is too weary to even think
As teardrops drip from her weary eyes forcing her to blink
What is to become of this poor broken soul
Drifting off betwixt slumberland is her only goal
Alas insomnia is grounded and stands in her way
So she seeks solace in her solitude to face that come what may...

I always enjoy a write that finishes how it starts but .... only when itโs not forced and you nailed it with this poem . Very entertaining with strong imagery as always portrayed through your words Jill .ย
