That Stone Too Soft
Commentary on Matthew 7:24-27

Why do we trust in hearts of cold stone
We build on things we assume are unshakable because they never move
But these mountains are merely grains of sand
when beheld by the eyes of God
That foundation that lasts forever is a rock of another kind
It beats the truth like a drum
Its pulse cleanses and injects blood into this multiverse
It is upon this fleshy temple piece I build my world
The other worlds will blow away like moondust at the next dying star
But our Light shall remainÂ
