the beautiful dragon

with its gigantic wings

it breathes fire from its mouth not to scare anyone

but because that is what he does

massive creatures beautiful to the eye

in fantasy land we see them

in the films and in myths they are

but I wonder what it would be like If I were to see a dragon on a normal day

on this land that we live in creatures like this do not exist

beautiful and ever so strong, a dragon is what every frightened soul needs

someone to help them fight on through difficult days

Oh they are not frightening not to me

they are magical and colourful creatures

like the array of sparkling  colours in the world

they are as beautiful and strong as all those combined

If we could see a dragon fly past the moon on a dark night

maybe if we saw that we could gain the strength that the sky now holds

just because the dragons presence has been there

imagine a silver dragon would never fly in the daytime

in the normal world it would be too scared

yet it would be so free next to the moon
